Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Bozeman, Montana. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, flexible - Employment Type: Travel Minimum 2 years of experience required. Assess patient’s condition before surgery. Ensure that the Operating Room is prepared with all necessary supplies, implants, instrumentation, and equipment. Keep the operating room sterilized. Pass medical instruments to the surgeons during operation. Monitor patient’s vital signs. Evaluate postoperative patients. Reviews charts for completeness, in accordance with documentation protocols prior to and after the surgical procedure. Adhere to all relevant health and safety standards. Essential Job Functions: Collects Comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or the situation (Assessment) Analyzes the assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues (Diagnosis) Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient or the situation Develops a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes (Plan of Care) Implements the identified plan of care Employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment Systematically enhances the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice Attains knowledge and competency that reflects current nursing practice Evaluates one’s own nursing practice in relation to professional practice standards and guidelines, relevant statutes, rules and regulations Interacts with and contributes to the professional development of peers and colleagues Collaborates with patient, family and others in the conduct of nursing practice Integrates ethical provisions in all areas of practice Integrates research findings into practice Provides leadership in the professional practice setting and the profession Wellspring Nurse Source Job ID 35329542.
