MRI Tech Location: Big Sky, MT Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,944 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Multi-Modality Radiology Technologist Profession: Diagnostic Imaging Specialty: CT Technologist, MRI Technologist, Radiologic Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shift with 6 on 8 off Hours per Shift: Guaranteed 40 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Montana Licensure as a Radiologic Technologist Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) advanced certification in both CT and MRI, American Heart Association BLS Must-Have: - Graduate of an accredited Radiology program or equivalent - Documented competencies in Radiology, CT, and MRI - Two years of previous radiology experience - Two years of previous CT and/or MRI experience Description: This position involves delivering high-quality MRI, CT, and X-Ray exams to assist in diagnosis or treatment. The technologist independently performs MRI, CT, and X-Ray procedures. Images are produced for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Candidates are expected to complete all required education as assigned. Quality MRI, CT, and X-Ray/fluoroscopic exams and procedures are to be performed for all patient populations. The technologist operates independently while maintaining high attention to detail and customer needs. Assistance to medical staff in other departments during exams and procedures may be required. Completing necessary documentation for the interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams is essential. Written orders and related health information must be retrieved to ensure timely performance and reporting. Participation in the implementation, monitoring, and improvement of hospital quality indicators is expected. Support and training of peers is encouraged. Demonstration of sound judgment and professionalism is crucial. The ability to maintain confidentiality, tact, and discretion is necessary. The role requires effectiveness in a busy and stressful environment. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are needed. Analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills are essential to meet multiple deadlines. This role requires regular and sustained attendance, including weekends and after-hours shifts. On-call work may be necessary to respond to various organizational needs. Physical Requirements: Lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly is required. Maintaining a sitting posture for extended periods may be necessary. Standing and walking for extended periods will be part of the role. Climbing, twisting, bending, stooping, and kneeling will also be required. Reaching above shoulder level, pushing, and pulling tasks will be involved periodically. Fine finger movements and continuous visual acuity are necessary for data preparation and analysis. The role requires cognitive skills for learning new tasks and completing work independently. Exposure to bloodborne pathogens, radiation, chemicals, and infectious diseases is a risk in this position. Handling emotionally challenging situations may be expected.
