  • Job Details
  • The Outpatient Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist provides health care services by assisting in diagnosis or treatment.
  • Performs CT procedures and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner.
  • Operates a CT scanner to obtain images used in the diagnosis and treatment of patient pathologies.
  • Uses knowledge of imaging techniques and cross-sectional anatomy to create high quality images for interpretation by radiologists and other medical professionals.
  • Modifies technical settings and adjusts scanning parameters to enhance images and minimize unnecessary exposure.
  • Performs routine quality inspections and quality control maintenance on scanner as recommended by the manufacturer and/or organizational policies and procedures.
    • Job Requirements
    • Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited Radiology program or equivalent.
    • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
    • American Heart Association BLS required within 60 days of hire.
    • Two (2) years of radiology experience as a registered technologist.
    • ARRT CT registry eligible.
    • 1 year post graduation experience with trauma Radiology preferred.
      • Schedule Information
      • Support 50 pounds of weight (patient, assist with bedside needs, etc.).
      • Lift 50 pounds (pick up a child, transfer a patient, etc.).
      • Carry equipment/supplies.
      • Use upper body strength (CPR, physically restrain patient, etc.).
      • Work extended periods, requiring sitting, walking, or standing for eight or more hours daily.
      • Work beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts.
      • On-call work may be required to respond to organizational and patient needs promptly.

        • This is for Advanced Medical Imaging.
          • Additional Details
          • Candidates must live at least 90 miles from facility to be considered for assignment.
