We are currently seeking a Survey Intern (Summer 2024) in our . As a Survey Intern (Summer 2024) you will assist Project Engineers, Designers and Construction team. The internship will provide hands-on experience working with our team on the planning, design, and construction of civil infrastructure for municipalities and state agencies. Typical projects include site/land development, roadway and traffic improvements, drainage and stormwater design, and utility improvements (water distribution and sanitary sewer).Some key duties and responsibilities include:

• Working under close supervision with Land Surveyors, Construction Inspectors, Engineers, and Design Technicians
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and documents
• Ability to compute quantities and verify measurements and layouts
• Document scanningKey skills and abilities needed for the position are:
  • Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail; able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team and interact with all project stakeholders
  • Previous experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation or ArcGIS is desired
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel & Word)
  • Valid driver's license is requiredEducation and experience requirements are:
    • Completed Sophomore year towards bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
    • Prior internship experience with Civil Engineering Design, Construction Observation or Land Survey a plus
