Job Description:The Registered Radiology Technologist performs
medical imaging examinations under the direction of a physician.To

Schedule:This position is 3-12 hour shifts per week, 1830-630a.
Rotated Holidays and Weekends required.As an Imaging Tech I
Diagnostic Radiology you need to know how to:Access, manage and
update patient medical records through Hospital Electronic Medical
Record Information System.Accurately access patient medical
recordsInput physicians orders appropriately to patients
recordsReview documentation for ongoing patient careCommunicate
patient record with ancillary hospital servicesMaintain patient
confidentiality as outlined by privacy and HIPAA guidelines-
Practice core competencies according to the ARRT Standards of
Ethics.Educate, interviews, screens and explains imaging and safety
procedures to patients regarding the biological effects of
radiation and/or magnetic field protection and safety prior to
beginning any imaging procedure to reduce anxiety and obtain
patient cooperation.Position patient on imaging table and utilizes
immobilization devices as warranted for safety or to obtain optimum
views of specified areas of the body as requested by a Physician
and following protocols developed by a Radiologist.Administer
contrast media orally or in intravenous administration according to
Radiologist and/or Pharmacy guidelines- Monitor patient during
procedures either through direct contact, by the use of two-way
voice communication or through control room window and/or closed
circuit TV screen.Practice universal safety precautions, radiation
protection techniques and magnetic field education to minimize
exposure to patient, self and staff.Minimum
QualificationsAssociate's degree (A. A.) or diploma from two-year
College or technical school; or six months to one year related
experience and/or trainingCurrent ARRT certificationCurrent Montana
State LicensureCurrent BLS certification endorsed by the American
Heart AssociationPhysical Requirements:Carrying, Climbing,
