Job Description:

A General Laborer is responsible for operating and maintaining various machines and tools, load and unload frequently heavy materials, and follow directions from supervisor and other skilled trades men. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform essential duties as listed below to include but are not limited to. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:? Operates multiple equipment/tools efficiently.? Help equipment operators, and other skilled labor when necessary? Preparation of Construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards? Load or unload construction materials? Remove, fill, or compact earth? Follow instructions from supervisors? Ability to communicate effectively with the supervisor.? Perform organizing, cleaning and inventory of work areas.? Works safely within the guidelines set forth by OSHA and the companies? safety policy.JOB QUALIFICATIONS: ? High school graduate or equivalent preferred.? Valid Driver?s License? Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks? Ability to work in all weather? Workers must be punctual and reliable? Experience as a general laborer in the construction industry preferred, but not necessary? Basic skills to complete essential paperwork, e-mail communicationsWage DOEHoffman?s is a family-owned company that has successfully been doing business for over 30 years.
