Typical pay range: $55.49 - $78.18
This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus in the amount of
$10,000.00*. To qualify for the bonus, candidates must not have

DEPARTMENT SUMMARY: The Perioperative and
Cardiovascular Services department provides specialized care to
patients throughout their surgical and procedural experience.
POSITION OVERVIEW: The Nurse Manager - Pre-Surgery
Clinic works directly with the Perioperative Surgical Home
Medical Director(s) to support the success of the Perioperative
Surgical Home Clinic at St. Charles Health System-Bend and manage
clinical and operational activities of the Pre-Surgery Clinic. This
position directly manages caregivers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:
Responsible for budget development, regular monitoring,
accountability and meeting all operational targets for all areas
within span of control.
Hires, directs, coaches and monitors the performance of all
direct reports, to develop and maintain a high performance team
that meets organizational and department goals.
Monitors and ensure all direct reports are current with
compliance and safety requirements. Implements and manages
all organizational safety directives and goals.
Provides and oversees team’s delivery of customer service in a
manner that promotes goodwill, is timely, efficient and
Collaborates with teams to review processes and
identify/implement opportunities for improvements, applying Value
Improvement Practice concepts and tools.
Creates a healing environment that supports all aspects of care,

Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
BSN or Bachelor’s Degree in a related
Preferred: MSN or Master’s degree in related
Required: Current RN licensure with the Oregon
State Board of Nursing
Valid Oregon driver’s license and ability to meet St. Charles
Health System driving requirements
Ability to travel to business functions/trainings/meetings and
all St. Charles Health System worksites
AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider
Required: 5 years nursing experience, 1 year leadership
Preferred: Nursing experience in a perioperative or
procedural department. Three years leadership experience.

Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment
(PPE) required to perform the job safely.
