The Team

As a member of the Insights team within Global Sales Strategy, you'll be using analytics and reporting to provide business critical insights to sales leadership to ensure cross-functional alignment of goals and execution. On the Sales Insights team, we focus on developing new approaches to data visualization and reporting that can be scaled to support future growth. As an Analyst II, you'll partner with our Sales Insights leader, sales stakeholders and the management team on their internal and external business intelligence needs. You will use custom analytics and decision frameworks to drive a deep understanding of our fast-changing business, providing insights that will translate directly to accelerated business growth.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will assist in providing analytical thought leadership to our stakeholders, delivering insights that enable them to make sound decisions about where to invest across key big bets and strategic opportunities. This role will report to the Lead Analyst for Sales Insights and will be responsible for supporting initiatives that help our FICO sales teams around the world to scale and accelerate both bookings and revenue growth. As a member of a global business operations team, this person must possess the desire and ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment where taking ownership and initiative is the foundation for success.

What You'll Contribute

  • Provide leaders with deep, compelling insights about the health and efficiency of the business and key opportunities for growth

  • Work on projects that are data intensive and require comfort with numbers to make decisions

  • Use intuition and experience to evaluate and resolve data and operational issues on the fly

  • Build and maintain standardized operational reporting packages and dashboards to empower sales leaders with critical insights related to sales strategy and execution

  • Use agile development standards and methodologies for requirements intake, scoping work, creating user stories and validating business requirements have been met

  • Serve as subject matter expert on all sales insights and trends, challenging the soundness of the historical data models as well as the technical design of data delivery

  • Deliver complex projects that have been well-tested and are supportable/maintainable

  • Collaborate cross-functionally within the Sales Operations organization to ensure consistent reporting standards and processes

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams on development of critical metrics

What We're Seeking

  • Experience in financial analysis, sales analytics, or an equivalent analytics role

  • Ability to translate complex findings in a structured and clear manner to non-technical audiences

  • Passion for utilizing insights and data storytelling to drive business decisions at all levels of the organization

  • Must be flexible, adaptable and able to respond to shifting and competing priorities

  • Experience manipulating large amounts of data in Excel, experience in SQL or other relational databases a plus

  • Experience with using data visualization tools to manipulate data and generate insights (Tableau, Salesforce Einstein, or similar)

  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM solutions and a willingness to learn new technology systems

  • Experience in the field of Business Operations and/or Sales Operations in either a large consulting firm or technology company - SaaS software preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering related field, or equivalent practical experience
