(Bridger) creates and deploys innovative LiDAR sensors for the Oil & Gas and Industrial Manufacturing industries. -Our airborne LiDAR sensors are transforming the way the Oil & Gas industry discovers and manages natural gas (methane) leaks. This opportunity is resulting in significant and rapid growth for our company.Overview of PositionTo assist in our growth, we seek an outstanding and motivated Backend Developer/Engineer. The successful candidate will work closely with our Information Technology and Software Development teams to support the design and deployment of key system architectures and infrastructure. -Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: -

• Assist Gas Mapping Lidar software team with designing software solutions based on architectural needs
• Design and deploy API and backend services
• Configure and deploy containerization solutions
• Deploy and optimize load balancing solutions
• Coordinate with various teams to deliver optimized data workflows
• Generating documentation of deployed servicesRequired qualifications:
  • B.S. or B.A. in related field
  • > 2-5 years IT experience
  • Willingness to work efficiently in fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work cohesively with a team of scientists, engineers, executives, and support staffPreferred qualifications:
    • Experience planning and integrating storage systems such as S3, data lakes, or HDFS
    • Experience planning and integrating message queues, key-value databases, or RDBs
    • Experience with scripting languages, such as Python
    • Experience with network design, deployment, and integration
    • Experience with cloud services and cloud integrations
    • Experience planning systems and integrations to meet specified needs and SLA targetsAdditional Information:
      • This is a full-time salaried position
      • Salary is commensurate with education, experience, and skills
      • This position is based at Bridger's facility in Bozeman, MT.
