Job Description:This job code applies to the Athletic Trainer,
in the community youth or high school setting, with primary
assignment to support the medical needs of the assigned partner;
provide medical coverage, on field and in the training room for
injured athletes during practices and events. Such duties may also
extend to assist other local high schools, community sporting
events, and regional sporting camps/activities. Understanding that
this position is exempt and will have variable hours.Posting

Intermountain Health, you will play a vital role in supporting our
clinical team, ensuring our athletes receive the best care by:
- Identifies the needs and develops programs and services within
budget constraints.
- Educates the athlete and/or patient and family as part of the
treatment plan and rehabilitative process.
- Documents all healthcare for injury tracking system.
- Performs injury evaluation for any injured
athlete/patient.
- Makes independent decisions to develop and modify specific
treatment plans for each individual injury and rehabilitation.
- Provides medical coverage, on-field and in the training room
for injured athletes during practices and events.
- Assists other local high schools, community sporting events,
and regional sporting camps/activities as needed.Minimum
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field (A Master's degree is
preferred).
- Current licensure by the Montana State Board of Athletic
Trainers (LAT).
- Current BOC certified status.
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart
Association.Physical Requirements:Hearing/listening, lifting,
manual dexterity, pulling/pushing, seeing, sitting, speaking,
squatting/kneeling, standing, and walking.Location:St James

Hours:40The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual
hourly rate dependent upon experience. $23.25 - $35.89 We care
