data sciences.As our company continues to grow we are now seeking a
HR Generalist to be based in Serbia. This position can be offered
mainly home based but we do require the candidate to be able to
visit our office in Belgrade once or twice per week.As a HR
Generalist you will be responsible for overseeing, maintaining, and
improving the day-to-day HR operations for the business area you
are supporting. This role acts as a first point of contact for HR
related matters and owns the functional areas of
onboarding/off-boarding, as well as other project based
initiatives.Essential functions of the job include but are not
limited to:* Manages the complete onboarding/off-boarding process
for employees which includes new hire orientation, manager
communication, preparing new hire meeting agendas, background
checks, data entry into key systems, etc.* Conducts new hire follow
up meetings, gathers data from 45 day new hire survey and analyses
so as to be able to provide feedback to managers and senior leaders
on possible areas for improvement.* Identifies ways to improve
existing policies and procedures.* Provides advice to management on
simple employee relations and day to day management issues.* Drafts
and distributes employee communications covering a variety of
topics as necessary.* Assists in implementing new global/or
divisional HR programs to assigned office/country locations to
ensure a consistent approach.* Collaborates with colleagues on the
HR team to develop improved policies, programs, and solutions*
Answers employee questions and troubleshoots HR system issues*
Audits key records and validates current HR practices* Files,
organizes, and scans confidential records such as employee folders,
I-9s/right to work documentation, to ensure files are up to date.at
all times* Performs special projects of various nature to enhance
employee culture* Other duties as assignedQualifications:Minimum
Required:* Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or
alternative combination of education and experience may be accepted
as a substitute* 2-3 years relevant experience in a Human Resources
roleOther Required:* Exceptional organizational, customer service,
interpersonal communication skills with the flexibility to thrive
in a fast paced, changing environment and the ability to actively
participate and sometimes lead cross functional teams* Knowledge of
federal and state employment regulations (US)/applicable local
employment law* Demonstrated knowledge in all areas of HR to
include but not be limited to, onboarding, training, performance
reviews, and compliance* Strong interpersonal and negotiation
skills* Excellent verbal, written, listening, and presentation
skills* Detail oriented and ability to manage multiple priorities*
Proficient with MS Office tools (Word, Excel PowerPoint and
Outlook)* Sound judgement and problem solving skills*
Professionalism and an overall positive attitude* Must be able to
read, write, speak, fluently and comprehend the English
languagePreferred:* 4-5 years relevant experience in a Human
Resources role* Diploma in HR such as CIPD/SHRMAny data provided as
