Yellowstone Club’s Special Events department is currently seeking candidates for a Houseman/Audio Visual Supervisor Summer Season! Purpose: This purpose of the Av and Houseman Supervisor is to manage the execution of the banquet and event set-ups, take-downs, ensure proper maintenance of all banquet equipment and furniture, general cleanliness of banquet area, and audio-visual needs per event. Not limited to serving, and cleanup while focusing on detail and quality presentation and customer service. Major Responsibilities: Ensure that each member and guest receive outstanding guest service in a guest friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every member and guest, maintaining outstanding service standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest service. Empowered to guarantee total guest satisfaction, display hospitality and professionalism to our guests at all times, take pride in representing Yellowstone Club professionally with our members and guests and assure that all transactions with guests are handled in a legal and ethical manner. Understand and apply all property safety and security procedures to maintain a secure and safe environment for employees, members, and guests at all times. In the event of an accident or emergency, seek medical attention if necessary and contact the Manager on Duty, Human Resources, or Paramedics immediately. Maintain a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster and promote a positive working environment. Essential Job Functions: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Organize tables, action stations, buffets, and carts for service Maintain organization of storage areas Supervise the set-up, breakdown, proper storage, and cleanliness of tables and chairs, buffet furniture, mobile bars, firepits, and propane heaters/tanks. Ability to operate audio and video equipment, projectors, microphones, TV’s, cables, internet applications. Provide support for telecommunications and mobile devices, conference calling, video conferencing and web-based applications. Provide light maintenance duties in the banquet area, vehicle cleanliness, and other machinery equipment needed for events. Be able to work in varied climate conditions, fast paced, and loud conditions. Converse with the Membership and guests in a hospitable and professional manner Lead the service team in the set-up and break-down. Comply with all food and beverage regulations. Ability to lift and carry 40lbs or more. Experience/Education Required: High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work Food and Beverage knowledge preferred, but not required. 1 year of full understanding audio and video meeting needs Strong level of Microsoft Office systems The position offered is a seasonal position located in Big Sky, Montana.
