Shamrock Foods Company is seeking a dedicated and reliable Local CDL A Truck Driver to join our family-owned business, established in 1922, in delivering top-notch food products and restaurant supplies. As a vital member of our transportation team, you will play a key role in ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers, upholding our commitment to quality and value. This position offers the opportunity to be a part of a proud heritage while driving locally, allowing for regular home time. Operate a tractor-trailer or other large vehicle to transport goods primarily on local routes. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is safe and report any issues. Load and unload cargo, ensuring goods are securely positioned and accounted for. Maintain logs of working hours and of vehicle service or repair status, adhering to federal and state regulations. Adhere to planned routing, and timely delivery schedules. Implement safe practices and comply with company and regulatory driving rules and policies. Provide excellent customer service during delivery, representing Shamrock Foods with professionalism. Ability to operate a commercial motor vehicle safely and efficiently Familiarity with DOT regulations and vehicle maintenance Strong time management and customer service skills Ability to handle physical workload Effective communication skills Medical Insurance 401k Profit Sharing Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A) Clean driving record DOT Medical Card
