Job Description:

Responsibilities: Conducting physical and neurological examinations Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as MRIs, CT scans, and EEGs Diagnosing conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and Alzheimer's disease Developing and implementing treatment plans, which may include medication, surgery, therapy, or lifestyle changes Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment as needed Educating patients and their families about their condition and management options Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as neurosurgeons, physical therapists, and occupational therapists Skills and Qualifications: Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) Completion of a neurology residency program Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Empathy and compassion for patients Knowledge of the anatomy, physiology, and pathology of the nervous system
