Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Dillon, MT Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $2,164 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position ID: 76626150 Shift: THIS IS NIGHT SHIFT Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for the practice of professional nursing, which includes assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of pediatric through geriatric patients. All Registered Nurses are expected to function independently in the Special Care Unit within a reasonable time frame not to exceed 18 months.1. Assesses and documents the physical condition of the patient each shift and monitors for changes. Notifies the physician.2. Performs initial interview of patients and creates individualized care plan.3. Maintains safe environment for patients and staff; responds appropriately.4. Initiates and documents patient education plan, teaching interventions, and patient understanding of concepts taught.5. Initiates discharge planning for patients and family.6. Performs treatments, nursing interventions, and administers medications per standards of care and hospital policy and procedure. Documents all interventions and patient condition post intervention.7. Evaluates the progress of the patient related to the plan of care and the treatments the physician has ordered. Ensures patient is safe for discharge and has post-services in place.8. Attends and participates in 100% Acute Care Nursing Staff meetings.9. Participates in performance improvement activities, competency validation and continuing education.10. Collaborates with the medical staff to facilitate progress toward each patient s goals.11. Attends 100% quarterly trauma meetings.12. Attends greater than or equal to 90% Departmental meetings.13. Maintains greater than or equal to 95% Barcode scanning monthly.
