Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Location: Butte, MT Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $1,152 to $1,296 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $32.00 - $36.00/Hourly. Summary: A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working. COTAs assist with therapy activities designed to enhance patients’ physical, cognitive, and motor abilities following injury, illness, or disability. Responsibilities: ?Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients. Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility, coordination, and daily living skills. Help patients practice tasks such as dressing, eating, grooming, and household activities. Monitor patient progress and report updates to the supervising occupational therapist. Document therapy sessions, patient responses, and treatment outcomes. Prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas before sessions.
