Sterile Processing Tech Location: Dillon, MT Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $1,008 to $1,152 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $28.00 - $32.00/Hourly. Summary: A Sterile Processing Technologist (SPT) is responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, inspecting, and preparing medical instruments and equipment used in surgical and clinical procedures. They ensure that all instruments are properly sterilized and ready for safe patient use, helping maintain infection control and patient safety standards within healthcare facilities. Responsibilities: Clean and decontaminate surgical instruments and equipment. Operate sterilization machines (e.g., autoclaves). Inspect instruments for damage or defects. Assemble instrument trays and packs according to procedure. Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes. Follow safety and infection control protocols.
