1 year License: Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse)
Certifications: American Heart Association BLS, Neonatal
Resuscitation Program Provider, STABLE certification Must-Have: One
year of NICU, Labor & Delivery, ED, or Intensive Care nursing
experience Description: The Registered Nurse works in a
collaborative and cooperative relationship with other members of
the health care team. The nurse plans and implements patient and
family education. The nurse is responsible for assessing the needs
and initiating appropriate interventions for patients. Collects
comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or the
situation. Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnoses or
issues. Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to
the patient or the situation. Develops a plan that prescribes
strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes. Implements
the identified plan of care. Employs strategies to promote health
and a safe environment. Systematically enhances the quality and
effectiveness of nursing practice. Attains knowledge and competency
that reflects current nursing practice. Evaluates one's own nursing
practice in relation to professional practice standards and
guidelines, relevant statutes, rules, and regulations. Interacts
