Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Certified Surgical Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Shift: 4- 10s Weekdays and On Call /n/nWork Experience:/n /n/t - Responsible for assuring completion of case carts according to preference cards. Recognizes and interprets preference cards for the procuring of instruments and supplies /n/t - Communicates clearly with operating room staff and sterile processing staff members to coordinate instrumentation throughout the day for scheduled and non-scheduled cases. /n/t - Reviews daily schedule with the charge nurse and the day coordinator of sterile processing identifying possible turnover delays and scheduling issues /n/t - Assumes responsibility for the core phone and communications inherent with the position, delegates duties accordingly and coordinates breaks and lunches with appropriate individuals. /n/t - Resource for the departments of SPD and Surgical Services for the procurement of necessary items, both supply and instrumentation, for scheduled and non-scheduled surgical procedures. /n /n/n/nEducation:/nHigh School Diploma or Equivalent/n/n/nLicense:/n/nCST/n/n /n/nCertifications: /nBLS/CPR Certification. /n ProKatchers Job ID 293934.
