Job Description GQR Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Livingston, Montana. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, flexible - Employment Type: Travel This traveler will help cover primarily night shift needs driven by open positions and time-off requests./n /n/t - Start Date: ASAP - 3/02/2026/n/t - Estimated Duration: 13 Weeks/n/t - FTE: 0.9 FTE (36 hours/week)/n/t - Contract Type: Travel RN – Labor & Delivery / FBC/n /nSchedule & Shift Details /nWe are currently building the January–March schedule and have identified the following that need help from an RN traveler to cover them: /n/n /n/t - Nights:/n/n/t /n/t/t - 3 night shift needs a second RN scheduled per week plus 2 nights that need back up RN /n/t /n/t/n/t - Days:/n/t /n/t/t - 1–4 day shifts (varies per week) need back up coverage beyond what our back-up OB RN can cover due to PTO and other staffing needs./n/t /n/t/n/t - Shifts:/n/t /n/t/t - Days: 6:45 a.m. – 7:15 p.m./n/t/t - Nights: 6:45 p.m. – 7:15 a.m./n/t/t - Training on both days and nights is required./n/t/t - Block scheduling may be available and can be discussed with the FBC Supervisor./n/t /n/t/n /nUnit & Patient Care Expectations /nThis role is for a Labor & Delivery RN working in our Family Birth Center (FBC). The traveler must be able to function independently and safely across the full perinatal continuum:/n/n /n/t - Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum/n/t - Mother/Baby couplet care/n/t - Triage through discharge home with the baby/n/t - Support for scheduled and unscheduled C-sections/n/t - Ability to safely prioritize and manage multiple patients in collaboration with the care team/n /nIf the FBC is closed during a shift, the traveler must be willing to float to Med/Surg as a resource RN. /nRequired Experience & Qualifications /nThese requirements are non-negotiable:/n/n /n/t - Minimum 2 years of recent Labor/Delivery/Recovery/Postpartum & Mother/Baby experience/n/n/t /n/t/t - Must be fully competent in all areas of FBC care (we are not able to train someone in just one area)./n/t /n/t/n/t - At least 1 prior travel RN contract/n/t - Active, unrestricted RN license (compact or MT eligible, as applicable)/n/t - Current certifications:/n/t /n/t/t - AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)/n/t/t - NRP/n/t/t - ACLS/n/t /n/t/n /n GQR Job ID 778685.
