Roles & Responsibilities Assess patients thoroughly and synthesize clinical data to guide perioperative care Develop and implement individualized plans of care that improve patient outcomes Provide expert intraoperative nursing — circulate and scrub as needed Deliver clear patient and family education to support recovery and safety Participate in call coverage and respond to urgent needs with professionalism Collaborate with surgical teams, physicians, and allied health staff to coordinate care Evaluate and continuously improve nursing practice to maintain high standards Contribute to stroke competency processes and related protocols when applicable Qualifications Active Montana RN license required BLS (AHA) current ACLS (AHA) required within 6 months of hire Minimum 18 months of Registered Nurse experience Preferred: Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) Preferred: 1 year circulating experience Preferred: 1 year scrub experience Ability to work varied shifts and participate in call rotation Strong interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and teamwork orientation Education Bachelor's degree from an accredited School of Nursing preferred Associate degree or Nursing Diploma accepted Knowledge & Skills Patient assessment and critical thinking for perioperative patients Care planning and implementation of individualized plans of care Intraoperative nursing skills for both circulating and scrub roles Patient and family education to promote safe recoveries Nursing practice evaluation and quality improvement focus Call coverage experience and adaptability in fast-paced settings Stroke competency and compliance with cerebrovascular protocols Leadership, teamwork, tact, discretion, and professional judgment Benefits Generous housing stipend and travel support to make your contract comfortable Comprehensive medical, dental & vision coverage to keep you healthy Licensure assistance and reimbursement to keep credentials current Professional development and certification support, including CNOR encouragement Paid time off so you can recharge between shifts Travel reimbursement and relocation support for your assignment A supportive team that values your contributions and growth Access to employee assistance resources and a culture of work-life balance Travel Perks: Explore Bozeman, MT Bozeman is an outdoor enthusiast's dream — explore hiking and biking trails, fish or raft nearby rivers, and enjoy scenic drives.
