American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating
Room position requiring a MT or compact RN license and variable day
shifts with call. Responsibilities - Work in the Operating Room of
a hospital setting - Responsibilities may include circulating and
scrub roles - Variable day shifts with on-call requirements - Needs
flexibility to cover all shifts as required - Patient care includes
perioperative nursing in surgical environments - Provide
comprehensive perioperative care including assessment, planning,
implementation, and evaluation - Collaborate with multidisciplinary
team and participate in patient and family education - Adhere to
protocols for stroke care and participate in annual stroke
education - Demonstrate professionalism, sound judgement, and
strong teamwork in a fast-paced environment - Facility may cancel
up to three shifts per 13-week contract due to low census or
unforeseen circumstances Requirements - Active MT or compact RN
license in hand - Minimum of 18 months RN experience required, with
at least 2 years preferred - Graduation from an accredited School
of Nursing (BSN, ADN, or Diploma) - Current BLS (AHA) certification
required - ACLS (AHA) required within 6 months of hire - Preferred
CNOR certification - Preferred 1 year of circulating and 1 year of
scrub experience - Must reside at least 90 miles from the facility
