Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 12/15/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel \n Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with at least 2 years of general and vascular sonography experience and ARDMS certification. \n \n Responsibilities\n Work in an ultrasonography department performing all general and vascular studies except for ABIs and segmental pressures No echocardiography or breast ultrasounds required 4x10 hour day shifts with varied scheduling Adult and general patient population EPIC EMR system in use and experience is required Perform and evaluate ultrasound procedures according to physician orders Educate, position, and immobilize patients as necessary during exams Collaborate closely with radiologists and other team members to ensure quality imaging and patient care Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection prevention protocols Safely transfer patients and maintain department equipment and supplies \n \n Requirements\n Active ARDMS registry required Current AHA BLS certification that does not expire prior to start Associate’s Degree required Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience, including general and vascular exams License required if applicable Ability to communicate effectively within a multi-functional team Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite \n Benefits\n High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts \n American Traveler Job ID P-626129.
