This and other physician jobs brought to you by DocCafe.com We are looking for a Coordinator to work collaboratively with Behavioral Health Care System and the NICU. The coordinator will be conducting assessments including risk of self-harm and harm to others, providing crisis intervention to a wide variety of individuals from various economic, cultural, ethnic, educational and other diverse backgrounds. Competencies

• Meet with any family with an identified social risk factor and all babies born at or below 32 weeks gestation or any gestational age with a critical or chronic health need.
• Provide crisis intervention to support families in situations of extreme stress or family conflict. Coordinate an interdisciplinary team, conduct child protective services to ensure a safe discharge for certain situations.
• Assess the family's social environment and mental health, the family's strengths and needs, and any potential risks that may be present for the baby
• Provide orientation to the nICU and anticipatory guidance for the nICU admission
• Educate caregivers about postpartum depression, coping with having a baby in the NICU, an adjustment to a child's chronic illness.
• With families to assess for postpartum depression, develop coping strategies and assist with bonding with the new baby.
• Develop a Family Advisory CommitteeRequirements:
  
  • Psy.D or Ph.D in Psychology OR Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling OR Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
  • Montana Licensed Mental Health Professional
