This and other rn jobs brought to you by NursingJobCafe.com The Nursery Services Nurse Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing patient care delivery for well, special care, and NICU neonates. This position is responsible for the development and implementation of neonatal care policies that are based on evidence and best practice standards and comply with regulatory requirements. The Nursing Services Manager is responsible to lead their application in to practice and will ensure standardized implementation across the department. Competencies:

• Advance organizational engagement and alignment with a focus on nursery employees, physicians (neonatologists and pediatricians) nurse midwives and workforce development.
• Provide compassionate and person-centered care across the continuum focusing on patients and families, providers, and the entire team.
• Develop and maintain a collaborative and inclusive approach to providing highly reliable Nursery/NICU care focused on: clinical quality, patient safety, and standardized clinical pathways and protocols.
• Sustain high value case through stewardship of resources, efficiency and effectiveness of operations, a culture of continuous improvement, and advancing the role of philanthropy. Requirements:
  
  • BSN or higher in nursing (MSN preferred; MN (CNL))
  • RN licensure-MT, BLS, NRP
  • 3-5 years of recent NICU experience and 2 years of recent healthcare management, supervisory or coordinator experience with demonstrated experience in management of staff in Nursery Services (NICU II/III/Nursery) clinical area
