Job Description:
Description SUMMARY: Perform duties assigned by Vehicle
Maintenance Manager and Lead Mechanic including, but not limited
to, vehicle maintenance, shop equipment maintenance,
troubleshooting, vehicle operation, welding, fabrication, and
interdepartmental assistance. PRIMARY JOB DUTIES: Perform
maintenance of vehicles, heavy equipment, and other equipment.
Including, but not limited to, service and repair of pickups,
ATV's, snowmobiles, snow blowers, snowcats, motor grader, dirt cat,
dump truck, loader, and backhoe. Diagnose mechanical, electrical,
and hydraulic system problems. Perform welding and fabrication as
required with arc, mig, and acetylene torch. Assist in maintenance
duties in other departments. Operate equipment in a prudent manner.
Properly use and maintain shop tools and equipment. Assist guests
as needed. Keep accurate records of maintenance performed.
Communicate vehicle status to other departments as needed. Work
collaboratively with managers, supervisors, and coworkers. Maintain
a clean, orderly office and safe work area EMPLOYEE EXPECTATIONS:

operational procedures with attention to detail and accuracy.

Contribute to Bridger Bowl's sustainability goals through daily
practices. SUPERVISION: Supervision Given: This position has no
supervisory responsibilities. Supervision Received: Works under the
supervision of the Vehicle Maintenance Manager. Receive assignments
as directed, with clear expectations, available guidance, and
periodic performance reviews as needed or during check-ins.

Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: At least 2 years of
professional mechanical experience. Have adequate knowledge of
mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to properly diagnose
and repair. Possess a valid Montana State driver’s license.
Experience operating heavy machinery. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Outdoor:
Work regularly in wet, cold, rapidly changing weather conditions,
requiring protective apparel and equipment to prevent exposure. May
need to walk on slippery or uneven surfaces. May work in cramped
areas while performing maintenance/repairs. Operating trucks and
company vehicles that require current state driver’s license and
clean driving record. Use equipment and tools commonly used to
repair vehicles and heavy equipment. Exposure: May encounter
cleaning fluids, agents, chemicals, and to contaminants, such as
antifreeze and chemical degreasers. Are often exposed to sounds and
noise levels that are distracting and uncomfortable. Sometimes they
work in extremely bright or inadequate lighting. Almost always wear
protective gear, such as goggles or earplugs. May need to drive in
very bright sunlight or low light conditions. Works near other
employees and guests throughout the shift. PHYSICAL & MENTAL
DEMANDS: Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, bend, lift or be
on your feet for extended periods of time. Requires standing and
walking for extended periods of time. May lift or move objects
weighing up to 50 lbs. Learning new tasks, remembering processes,
maintaining focus, completing tasks independently, ability to
communicate effectively with coworkers and visitors, ability to
complete tasks efficiently. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS AND ADDITIONAL
INFORMATION: Successful candidates must have the ability to
understand and communicate in English with adequate proficiency to
follow directions from supervisor, read and understand safety
guidelines and directions to prevent accidents or injuries from
occurring, and effectively communicate with visitors and staff. To
