We are Hiring HVAC Installation Technicians! In this position you will be part of our retrofit installation team, installing both residential and light commercial equipment. Position: HVAC Installation Technician Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 HR/Depending on Experience Spiffs/bonuses. Cash bonuses on accessories and services Benefits: Medical Insurance; 100% paid for employee Supplemental insurance options 80 hours of annual vacation time Flex time 6 paid holidays IRA with 3% match Company uniform/phone Tool program (break your tool on the job, we replace it) iPad with Cell Service to dispatch and receive onsite access to files, notes, and customer details Additional insurance benefits What you will be doing: Installing primarily residential and some light commercial heating and air conditioning systems, ducted and ductless systems Correctly size, fabricate, install, insulate, and seal ductwork Low voltage control wiring of thermostats and accessories Refrigerant application with line sets brazing and implementation of AC and Heat Pump Systems Installing and testing gas pipe Equipment start-up and troubleshooting techniques Train helpers and support installation teammates Educating customers on their equipment so they have the very best experience after installation Solving in-field installation challenges and working through options with the sales team and customer Offering customers additional options that will improve their in-home comfort Qualifications / Skills: Valid driver's license and insurable driving record 3 years of HVAC Installation experience Residential Retrofit experience required EPA Universal Certification Proficient at residential and light commercial functional design and installations Good understanding of line and low voltage wiring, relays, transformers, and wiring diagrams Experience running and testing gas piping Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints Basic sheet metal practices Knowledge and ability to follow city and county installation codes Certificate of completion from an HVAC Technical School desired Check us out online: www.mountainsheetmetal.com
