Position Title: Construction Foreman The Construction Foreman is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the work of the construction crew on various projects. This role involves managing daily operations on the construction site, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The Foreman acts as a liaison between the workers and the management team, ensuring effective communication and efficient workflow. Duties and Responsibilities: Assist the Superintendent with coordination and scheduling of tasks for each job site Supervise the tasks assigned to the construction crew on site Ensure the crew has all necessary tools to complete their jobs in an efficient and effective manner Keep jobs sites, tools, and trailers clean and organized Execute excellent time management skills, keeping the crew and projects on schedule Inspect work ensuring it meets the quality and standards set forth Identify and rectify any issues or defects during the construction process Maintain a high standard of workmanship Assist subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders as necessary Be on site to receive and inspect materials delivered ensuring quantity and quality are accurate Prepare and submit daily logs in Buildertrend pertaining to ongoing projects Manage and optimize the use of labor, materials, and equipment. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed. Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on site and report to Superintendent any employee discrepancies Implement solutions to improve efficiency and productivity Adaptability to project and schedule changes Assist on the Excavation side when necessary Maintain a positive and pleasant attitude Follow all safety guidelines and rules *Must have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation Preferred but not required qualifications: - Experience with Buildertrend software - Ability to read site plans - Basic computer knowledge in Microsoft word and Excel
