Job Description Responsibilities(include but are not limited to) /n - Operate sandblasting equipment to remove mill scale from steel plate and assemblies /n - Adjust equipment as necessary to perform efficient and proper blasting /n - Perform preventative maintenance procedures for blast and recovery systems /n - Operate plasma & oxy fuel cutting table /n - Assist with loading and unloading cut table /n - Label and sort cut parts /n - Help with staging of steel plate for upcoming programs /n - Process & unload steel deliveries /n - Organize and label steel plate in the storage yard /n - Clean cutting table trays /n - Actively maintain a clean & safe work area /n /n Required Skills /n - Mechanical and technical aptitude /n - The ability to work in all weather conditions /n - Team player, detail oriented, flexible and able to work with minimal supervision /n /n Success Factors /n - Safety first mindset and attitude /n - Positive attitude and teamwork are crucial /n - Adaptable, flexible, dependable, and trustworthy /n - Strong initiative and ability to work with minimum supervision /n - Practiced at critical thinking, decision making and problem solving /n - Must be able to work overtime on occasion and be flexible with work schedule /n - Safe & efficient forklift & overhead crane operation /n - Ability to follow instruction /n - Attention to detail /n /n Physical demands and work environment The physical demands and work environment described here are typical, however not intended to be all-inclusive and are subject to change per the environment.
